Whoopi Goldberg had no eyebrows on Star Trek, but mind you, she was just a bartender on that. I think eyebrows are essential for a Time-Lord.

My reaction to Matt Smith's appointment as the Eleventh Doctor was very much the same as Stuart's; meh. On my blog, people seem to be saying not that he's too young (though that is a bit of an issue), but that Matt Smith looks retarded because he has no eyebrows.

My initial thoughts were: meh, he’s so Tenant-esque.

While I think he’ll no doubt be brilliant, I would have liked something a bit different.

Hmmm….exciting and scary at the same time. Both previous Doctors gave me the feeling I had with my first Doctor. They each had the same flair of Baker, putting their own little special somethings in it to make it their own and not a copycat.

I am excited to see the new guy, but I am scared of this “bold and brand new take”. I hope to have my fears washed away in 2010.

I know nothing about this guy but in the BBC interview http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7809942.stm just posted he does seem very Doctorish.
Sad to see Tennant go, the best since Baker for me.
