OR, how about a third choice? I pay you $13 to stick a needle in my eyes.
If I were to pay $13 for just one of those would be asking for humiliation. Seriously, there’s only four good movies out of both of those sets, the first two of each series.
I guess I could buy them both and just use Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Superman 3 and Superman 4 as coasters, or to leverage the leg of my unbalanced table.
The problem I have is that I already own Batman, Batman Returns, Superman, and Superman II on DVD. Although I guess I actually do have Superman III and IV, too…
See, Shag. Proof that Superman 3 exists!
Oh dude. Superman. YES!
I have both of those DVDs, it’s a great buy! Instead of replacing my VHS’s with a DVD of each individual film, I can kill 8 birds with two stones and get all 8 films for $26! It’s great!
Ed is right. It’s more like 2 1/2 favorites for Batman and just 2 for Superman. lol.
Don’t listen to the haters, Shag! Costumes with rubber nipples on them and computer-hacking Richard Pryors are priceless!
Got the Supes one, which was a great investment!
I already bought the special edition of Batman Returns for less than $10, and that’s the only one worth owning. I managed to catch The Christopher Reeve Collection boxed set for $16 at Best Buy, so my Superman jones is covered.
Ed, i think it it important to include Superman 3, it has many followers (meaning the scheme to take the fractional interest earned that is less than $.01) such as Office Space…which is a classic, partially because it references the terrible movie (Superman 3)!
Thanks for all the comments! Y’all are freakin’ funny!
Ed – I’d pay $13 to watch you stab a needle in his eye. Do you accept Paypal?
Kevin – I’m not sure what you’re talking about. There were never any Superman movies after Superman II. Duh.
Chocotaco – Never under-estimate Richard Pryor. Pryor’s Place was just a smoke screen for his phishing schemes. The most dangerous man in comedy.
44 – Just watched Office Space this past weekend. Loved that reference!
And Batman Forever is better than Batman Returns. There, I said it. Deal with it, Burton lovers. =P
