DragonCon 2010 Photos Uploaded

Hey gang – I survived DragonCon 2010!  Sorry posts have been light here this week.  I’m still absolutely exhausted from DragonCon and fighting off a cold.

Normal posting should resume next week.  To keep you satisfied until then, I’ve uploaded over 600 pictures from my DragonCon 2010 experience!  I was fortunate enough to attend a few massive superhero photo shoots this year.  Here is just a tease of some of those photos.  More photos and details next week. 1. Shag:

As I’ve said before, I just don’t get cosplay. But I must admit cosplayers are impressive in bigger numbers, and George Pérez looks like he’s having just too much fun. As always, thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

  2. WOW Shag – these are amazing pics!

Even my favourites Martian Manhunter and Cyborg made the grade!

The Cyborg one looks really detailed too.

Glad you had a great time and hope your feeling better soon!

  3. Quite the photo bucket. Thanks for the pictures.

Is it just me, or were there more older people in the background than in past years? By older people I mean grandparent types. Several of your pictures had them standing around in the background.

    Did anyone else notice this?

I particularly noticed them on the pictures not involving hot geeky woman wearing fantasy garb and super hero spandex. Will have to go back and verify my theory. It’s all for science after-all. It would really help my research if you could create a sub-gallery specifically tailored to, and containing, the data in question.

    Thanks.

  4. @ Sterling: My mom was probably one of those people. She is a huge Whedonverse and Star Trek fan and was at DragonCon for her second time this year. In fact, she volunteered as a super hero wrangler and was in the parade as Actinium for the periodic table of elements.

  5. Amazing pictures!!! The Joel with Doc and Jackson pics made me shriek..I’ve never seen a more awesome combo in my life. So glad you photographed that.
