  1. I haven’t logged nearly enough gym hours to wear that Princess Leia number, but that is a worthy goal for Valentine’s Day 2011. And on behalf of my fellow lady geeks: Would it kill the guys to dress up as Han Solo every now and then? We’ve got fantasies, too, and they involve Han washing some dishes.

  2. If the Red Skull asks you to dress as Princess Leia, watching you wash dishes is not what Red Skull has in mind. Would it kill girls to appreciate Red Skull dressing as Red Skull? Red Skull is the awesomest! Though if Red Skull wore Han Solo piped pants, a rugged black vest, and a blaster at the side, Red Skull would be awesomest-er. Don’t feel sad, fraus, about a lonely Valentine’s. Red Skull will be tossing out “I Heart My Skull” tees to all the ladies at the beach this spring break!

The Voice of the Red Skull has this to quote about what Wikipedia has to say about what you mentioned about Star Registry:

“The International Astronomical Union (IAU) is the internationally recognized authority which designates stars, planets, asteroids, comets, and other heavenly bodies according to internationally accepted rules. The IAU does not sell naming rights nor does it authorize any other company or organization to do so. The IAU cautions consumers that products and services marketed by ISR and other companies have no formal or official validity whatsoever. In fact with a few exceptions of ancient or Arabic names, nearly all stars are designated by catalog numbers rather than names.

The IAU has called the ISR’s star-naming business “a deplorable commercial trick.” However, the ISR does not claim to officially name a star, saying:

‘No. We do not own the star, so we cannot sell it to you. This is like adopting the star. This star is associated with that special someone. It is something you can point at to know that there is something special out there for you.’

Naming services are limited to an entry in (ISR’s) book and carries no scientific or official authenticity according to professional astronomers as well as the company’s list of frequently asked questions. The only recognition outside of the ISR and customer is the copyright registration of the book itself available to any ‘original works of authorship’.”

The Voice of the Red Skull once wore some ‘Hydra’ cologne on a date, but it did not go over well.

  3. I must be a geek because all of this stuff looks good to me. I have to agree with Erika on the Princess Leia being a goal for 2011. I really have to agree with the Han Solo comment. Please leave it alone! Don’t do it unless you hot.
