  1. Even when I was a wee lad, I thought the cover of Alpha Flight #1 was ridiculous. I can’t imagine what a job that could only be handled by Alpha Flight would even be. The best thing that I can come up with is some kind of Zamboni accident or some other hockey-related emergency. I figure that Alpha Flight’s experience in that area outclasses that of the Avengers, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four by a longshot.

  2. Oh Choco…you’re totally forgetting the times when the villan speaks French AND uses the metric system…then Alpha Flight would be the superheros of choice. Keep in mind that BOTH conditions have to be in effect as Excalibur can cover the metric system.

    I’ve always loved how Byrne played with design with his Alpha Flight covers. Nos. 3 and 6 have always been favorites of mine.
