In addition to the monthly releases, Big Finish also releases a series of short story collections and a second line of &#8216;spin-off&#8217; audio plays featuring popular characters and monsters from Doctor Who.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The recent <a title=\"Big Finish Eighth Doctor Adventures\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/The-Eighth-Doctor-Adventures\">Eighth Doctor Adventures<\/a> have been especially good.\u00a0 Big Finish purposely tried to blend the best elements of the Doctor Who classic series with the best elements of the new series.\u00a0\u00a0 The Doctor and Lucie in Season One and Two faced memorable villains such as: Daleks, Cybermen, <a title=\"Zygons\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zygon\">Zygons<\/a>, and <a title=\"Morbius\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_Doctor_Who_villains#Morbius\">Morbius<\/a>.\u00a0 Some foes from the upcoming Season Three that have been announced include: <a title=\"Krynoids\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_Doctor_Who_monsters_and_aliens#Krynoid\">Krynoids<\/a>, <a title=\"Wirrn\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_Doctor_Who_monsters_and_aliens#Wirrn\">Wirrn<\/a>, and the Spiders (from &#8216;<a title=\"Planet of Spiders\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Planet_of_the_Spiders\">Planet of Spiders<\/a>&#8216;).\u00a0 The companion, Lucie Miller, is also lots of fun with her brash, no-nonsense attitude.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You do have to pay for Big Finish adventures, but they are well worth the expense.\u00a0 You can still download the Eighth Doctor Adventures Season One and Two directly from the <a title=\"Download the Eighth Doctor Adventures\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/The-Eighth-Doctor-Adventures\">Big Finish site<\/a> or order them on CD.\u00a0 If you are here in the United States and would prefer CD, I personally recommend you order them from a company called <a title=\"Eighth Doctor Adventures on CD from Who North America\" href=\"http:\/\/www.whona.com\/mm5\/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Store_Code=W&amp;Category_Code=bbc7\" class=\"broken_link\">Who North America<\/a>.\u00a0 They have the best customer service of any
