Dynamite Magazine for kids?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anyone besides me remember <a title=\"Dynamite Magazine\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dynamite_(magazine)\"><em>Dynamite <\/em>magazine<\/a> for kids by Scholastic?\u00a0 I came across some old issues in a used bookstore and they really brought back memories.\u00a0 I simply had to pick up the one below because of my love for all things Estrada (<em>Dynamite<\/em> #64, September 1979).\u00a0 I did some research on the magazine and was surprised to find out how long it ran &#8211; 1974-1992.\u00a0 Seriously?\u00a0 I had no idea it ran until 1992.\u00a0 I thought it was a late-70s\/early-80s phenomena.\u00a0 Additionally, it was founded by <a title=\"Jenette Kahn\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jenette_Kahn\">Jenette Kahn<\/a> who later went on to be the President and Editor-in-Chief of DC Comics.\u00a0 Wow, she was really connected to children&#8217;s entertainment back then.\u00a0 She&#8217;s responsible for several things I fondly remember.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dynamite_(magazine)\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Dynamite Magazine by Scholastic - Issue #64\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/dynamite1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"671\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When I opened the magazine, my mind was completely blown as I came across the <em>Dynamite Duo<\/em>.\u00a0 This was something I&#8217;d totally forgotten, and yet had loved as a child.\u00a0 The adventures of Nightglider and Dawnstar!\u00a0 After seeing this, I can now recall they had magic rings, but that&#8217;s about it.\u00a0 What a blast from the past!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dynamite_(magazine)\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Dynamite Magazine from Scholastic - Dynamite Duo\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/dynamite2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"679\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There isn&#8217;t a lot out there about <em>Dynamite<\/em>, but you can find some information on <a title=\"Dynamite on Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dynamite_(magazine)\">Wikipedia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"sharedaddy
