Over the weekend I had the opportunity to try a bizarre recipe: Macaroni and Cheese Pizza.\u00a0 At first I was horrified by the concept.\u00a0 Then I considered the components.\u00a0 Mac & Cheese = Good.\u00a0 Pizza = Good.\u00a0 Hmmm… I started to wonder if maybe these are two great tastes that taste great together.\u00a0 I’ve long considered macaroni and cheese to be a staple food in the geek diet; and obviously us geeks like pizza.\u00a0 So perhaps this would be an excellent melding of two popular geek favorites.<\/p>\n

When the macaroni and cheese pizza was served I was again terrified.\u00a0 I mean c’mon, look at the picture below.\u00a0 Yikes!<\/p>\n

I psyched myself up and took a bite.\u00a0 Not bad.\u00a0 I took a second bite, still not bad.\u00a0 In fact, tasting pretty darn good.\u00a0 My ten year old step-son decided to try some as well.\u00a0 By the end, we were arguing over who got the last piece!\u00a0 Was it amazing?\u00a0 No.\u00a0 Was it good and worth having again?\u00a0 Absolutely.<\/p>\n

So while it wasn’t the greatest pizza ever, it may be the best comibination of geek favorites.\u00a0 Now if only I’d had a Mountain Dew to wash it down with.<\/p>\n
