Wars Toys from Kenner Advertisement (1979)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check out this advertisement for <em>Star Wars<\/em> toys available from Kenner.\u00a0 This ad appeared in comic books in late 1979.\u00a0 I owned nearly all of these toys.\u00a0 The only item on this page I didn&#8217;t own was the Imperial Troop Transporter (it wasn&#8217;t in the film, so I wasn&#8217;t interested).\u00a0 Given the amount of <em>Star Wars<\/em> product on the market today, it&#8217;s hard to remember a time when there wasn&#8217;t much available.\u00a0 The idea of owning
