Shag's Sanctum Sanctorum)\" href=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/2009\/10\/28\/shags-comicatorium-update\/\" target=\"_blank\">Comicatorium<\/a>.\u00a0 So I decided these old posters needed to see the light of day one way or another.\u00a0  Therefore, for the next few days you get to stroll through my poster collection.\u00a0 Today we&#8217;ll look at some of my DC Comics related posters. Please ignore the magnets in the corners of these posters.\u00a0 I used them to hold the poster in place while I took the photos.\u00a0 Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following poster of Batman&#8217;s rogue gallery was drawn by Joe Quesada (now Marvel&#8217;s Editor-in-Chief).\u00a0 Besides Quesada&#8217;s amazing artwork, I&#8217;ve always liked the disorienting perspective.\u00a0 This image originally appeared as the cover to <em>The Batman Gallery<\/em> cover dated 1992. Click the image to enlarge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-batmanquesada.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Batman Rogues Gallery Poster by Joe Quesada\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-batmanquesada.jpg\" alt=\"Batman Rogues Gallery Poster by Joe Quesada\" width=\"525\" height=\"350\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following Dave McKean poster of Grant Morrison&#8217;s 1989 masterpiece <em>Batman: Arkham Asylum<\/em> has been used more recently on the cover of the 15th anniversary trade paperback.\u00a0 This poster was issued around the time of the original release in 1989.\u00a0 Really awesome and creepy poster!\u00a0 Also worth noting is that the silver lines and images in the forefront were done in silver reflective ink.\u00a0 Pretty cool.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Arkham Asylum Poster by Dave McKean\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-arkhamasylum.jpg\" alt=\"Arkham Asylum Poster by Dave McKean\" width=\"500\" height=\"645\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Below is an Ed McGuinness Superman and Batman image from <em>Superman\/Batman<\/em> the comic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Superman Batman by Ed McGuinness\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-supermanbatman.jpg\" alt=\"Superman Batman by Ed McGuinness\" width=\"500\" height=\"785\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Below is a gorgeous Superman and Batman image from Steve Rude&#8217;s 1990 masterpiece <em>World&#8217;s Finest<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Superman and Batman - World's Finest by Steve Rude\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-worldsfinest.jpg\" alt=\"Superman and Batman - World's Finest by Steve Rude\" width=\"500\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The next two posters are actually flip sides of the same poster, both drawn by Jon Bogdanove. The poster came in a Wizard Magazine special on <em>Zero Hour<\/em>.\u00a0 The first side shows Superman surrounded by numerous Batmen, each representing a different artist\/era of the caped crusader (i.e. Bob Kane&#8217;s Batman, Neal Adams&#8217; Batman, Frank Miller&#8217;s Batman, etc).\u00a0 This image was featured as the cover to <em>Superman: The Man of Steel<\/em> #37 in 1994.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Zero Hour - Superman and Batman by Jon Bogdanove\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-zerohourbatmen.jpg\" alt=\"Zero Hour - Superman and Batman by Jon Bogdanove\" width=\"500\" height=\"752\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The flip side of that poster features the opposite situation &#8211; Batman surrounded by numerous Supermen, each representing a different artist\/era of the man of tomorrow (i.e. Joe Shuster&#8217;s Superman, John Byrne&#8217;s Superman, Wayne Boring&#8217;s Superman, etc).\u00a0 This situation didn&#8217;t actually appear in the Zero Hour story.\u00a0 To my knowledge, this image has never been available anywhere but this poster.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Zero Hour - This one was intended to promote the launch of the 2004 <em>Firestorm<\/em> series by Dan Jolley and ChrisCross.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Firestorm promotional poster by CrissCross\" src=\"http:\/\/onceuponageek.com\/images\/poster-firestorm3.jpg\" alt=\"Firestorm promotional poster by CrissCross\" width=\"500\" height=\"1550\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The next two are movie theater one-sheets.\u00a0 A one-sheet is a type of poster sent by a film company for theaters to use in advertising.\u00a0 They are typically larger than regular posters and are two sided. The front has the image you are promoting, the flip side has the same image reversed so it looks good when lit from behind in a theater poster case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In my defense, these next two one-sheets never sullied my walls.\u00a0 I kept them, but never hung them.\u00a0 They are both from the atrocious 1997 film <em>Batman &amp; Robin<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p
