Ataque de Pánico! (Panic Attack!)
I first saw this short back in November 2009. I’ve been meaning to post it ever since, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. Well here it is… Panic Attack! Written, edited and directed by Fede Álvarez, this short film’s budget was $300. There really is no plot, just 5 minutes of cool shots of robots attacking Montevideo in Uruguay. Enjoy!
That’s pretty freakin’ awesome.
It’s amazing what people can do with software off the shelf. Sure, that software can cost hundreds of dollars but we didn’t have the ability, technology wise, to do this from home 10 years ago. Shoot, probably not even 5 years ago.
I showed this to a few people and they were ‘meh’ and so quick to criticise. But this is home made, and IMO, it’s awesome!!!
I agree with both Ed and Stuart…it is cool without any hokey looking shots AND it is something I could NEVER do!
