The Timelords are better known as the British house band The KLF, probably best known in this country for their minor hit “Justified & Ancient,” the single version of which fetured Tammy Wynette!
Luke – So true! I didn’t think anyone else would know that. I slipped “KLF” into the tags for my own edification, but didn’t bother trying to explain. If I’d tried, I would have probably rambled on for three paragraphs. Thank you for doing that so succinctly!
I own that single on CD, but my copy doesn’t have the blurb/balloon at the bottom. First heard it on Dr. Demento around ’89 or so.
